Hi! You are right; we'll be in contact no matter what! BTW I received my package from you and wish to thank you soooooo much. I'm getting my things out Monday or Tuesday.

I like this site already though I haven't finished my profile, I, like you, have a very good feeling about it. I tried to send to all my contacts in my address book but it kept hanging up on me so I guess I'll have to do it manually. Talk to you later...

Well, thank you Leslie and in time membership will increase here. This network is only 5 days old. A lot of my contacts are too busy with the holidays etc. but they tell me they will join soon enough. But in the meantime I will remain committed to participating with current members while adding new content to this network.... I believe in myself, I believe in our members and I believe in this network and its primary focus....

Leslie, I am profoundly appreciative for your joining and I share that goal of one day reading all the books that I have as I am a voracious reader but with all the work I've been putting in with my network, my websites, my writing, taking care of my cats and my mother and doing odd jobs outside the house to help pay bills my reading has taken kind of a back seat, unfortunately.... But in life, there are trade-offs and sacrifices and the last two years I made a lot.... I, too, love museums and here in Chicago we have a few world-renowned museums as you well know. Those, too, I haven't been to in a long while as my life has been suffused with my work, my vision... In time, though, I will take a much-needed and desired break and inculcate myself with the gentle diversions this world has to offer me....

on line spirituality

I have been receiving quotations for a few years from beliefnet.com - they have Buddhist, Jewish, Inspirational, Hindu, etc. I like that part of the site the best.

Recently a friend sent me something called the dailyOM - another short spiritual "lesson" - comes directly to my mailbox.

In the past few weeks, I connected with Joel Osteen on line. I watch his sermon on television when I catch it. I started to get his "Today's Word" also to my e-mail.

I find his message to be

Final Summer Friday field trip (2007 - NYC)

It was a cold and stormy day …

Really it was…

And our planned trip was to the Coney Island Aquarium! And we went anyway!

Only two kids showed up, myself an

Fifth Friday Field Trip (Summer 2007 - NYC)

This time there were three teachers and four students. Another teacher wanted to come along. She liked it so much, she’ll come to other trips in the fall. I got clearance to have two Saturday trips during eac month in the school year – there’s just so much for the students to see, that one trip during the school day per month would NEVER be enough.

Fourth Friday Field Trip (Summer 2007 - NYC)

Love that alliteration… two more trips to go.

Most of the trips to this point have been history based – the United Nations, Ellis Island, The Museum of the City of NY. One of the students had been dragging a bit, so we opted for a science trip this time: The American Museum of Natural History (

Third Friday Field trip (Summer 2007 - NYC)

Since we went so far the last time, I suggested we go to the Museum of the City of New York (www.mcny.org) – a simple bus ride away. The other teacher likes baseball and had seen that there’d be a baseball exhibit – 1947 to 1957 (Glory Days) – that would be there. I am NOT into baseball, but I figured some of the students would be, so that was fine. The museum is across the street from the Conservatory Garden, a planned English type fenced in garden with flowers, fountains, lawns and pathways –… Continue

Monumental Lives For Monumental Change: ....Join Us!

We Making The Difference!" The Steps Toward A Better World Begin With The Steps Taken To Better Oneself! "A foundation is but the base and it is the collection of building blocks that creates what many should strive to ascend."

Living a monumental life doesn't necessarily mean possession of a large financial fortune or living in the spotlight of public adoration and fame. What I think it means is that you act in accordance with your own identity while acting in ways that are positive and conducive to happiness, serenity and harmony. What I think it means is that you generate positive energies and in turn, your positive energies have a positive effect on others. Linkin' Monuments-- a positive chain of energy! Read More>>>

The Thirteen Reasons

1.) You are as important as the next person
2.) Your contributions to this world are as monumental as the next person
3.)You believe in yourself because you know you "can"
4.)You believe in your neighbors because you know they "can"
5.)No matter how difficult it may seem, you are not alone.
6.)You deserve as much respect as does the next person
7.)Don't wonder so much what your life might have been but put into action what you want your life to become.
8.)You matter because we all matter.
9.)Enough failures will lead to success once you succeed in failing to give up.
10.)This world has so much to offer and you have so much more to offer it.
11.)You have many talents and abilities...a few which may have yet to be uncovered.
12.)The treasures you may seek are near enough the heart that it wouldn't take more than a heartbeat to uncover the most precious gems of all.
13.)You are here because you belong!

Welcome!

The Three Conditions

1.)This network is for one and for all...No matter what color, what creed or belief, what political affiliation you subscribe or what candidate you endorse this network is open to you.
2.)As in any community each one of us has our own unique personalities, traits, belief systems, talents and as long as any of these elements are not breaches against the prosperity of the community then they should be allowed, accepted and honored. Community is about diversity. This is a Community
3.)It is my greatest hope that we learn from each other. Each one of us has so much to offer. No one here is better or smarter or more talented than the next person. Each one of us has our strengths; each one of us has our weaknesses. Your strength in one area is of great benefit to my weakness in that same area. A simple philosophy of mine: "A greedy mine is to learn, yet not teach & A lazy mind is to yearn, yet not reach" Let us not be greedy, let us not be lazy.
